Towns and villages in Cheshire have been given the opportunity to consult with their local community and prepare a plan of action to improve life in their area. Over the next six months the Parish Council will be sponsoring and supporting a local independent volunteer group, who will be asking for your views on what you think are the priorities for the community of Little Leigh, now and in the future.
Why is it important?
The Parish Plan will enablt those of you who live and work in Little Leigh to develop detailed plans and apply for support and funding to improve the quality of life in out community. The County Council and other agenciews such as the police, health agencies and utility companies will reference our actions and use them to help to decide where they can improve to support our needs.
How can I find out more?
You can find out more about the Parihs Plan by coming along to the Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday 16th March aqt 7:00pm in Little Leigh Village Hall. There you will have a chance to hear more about the plan and what's involved. It's not a formal event and the whol family is invited.
If you can't attend the meeting, don't worry - over the coming months there will be a whole range of opportunities for you to have your say. This will include a questionnaire to every household and discussion groups. Watch out for further editions of the Parish Council Noticeboard newsletter, posters around the village for more information and news on Little Leigh . Net
